XR-88TM is chemical product that stabilizes and renders benign a wide variety of metals, (such as copper, Chrome-VI or hexavalent chrome, nickel, zinc, lead and arsenic, to name a few) found in acid mine water, and also often found with other contaminants in water, soil, and sludge.

The chemical has been extensively tested in the U.S. and China and passed every test, including the US EPA TCLP test for leachability of trapped metals in the remaining sludge, thus yielding a non-hazardous waste. The following six slides show this action in progress
